It is an experience sharing session where experienced incubator managers will provide their views; share their knowledge and best
practices with delegates.
09.00am – 01.00pm | Marketing for Incubator Managers
The marketing workshop will explain to incubator managers the key elements of marketing an incubator and this workshop is held with the objective to enhance the incubator managers’ marketing skills.
11.00am – 01.00pm | Cradle Train-the-Trainers Program
A training program provided by Cradle to introduce the incubator managers the Cradle Funds (CIP 150 and CIP 500) and the application procedures. Incubator managers who completed the session will be able to provide detailed information about Cradle funds to their incubatees.
02.00pm – 03.30pm | Essentials in Entrepreneur Coaching
A session presented by experienced and certified coach to share with delegates on the key elements and significance of coaching to assist your incubatees or clients. With good coaching skill is the added advantage for an incubator manager.
02.00pm – 03.30pm | Social Networking for Community Building
Social media plays an important role in businesses today. It becomes one of the main marketing channels because the marketing cost is low and its effectiveness is high. A workshop will be conducted on how businesses utilize social media to build community.
04.00pm – 06.00pm | Media Management
A media relations workshop organized by publication to educate entrepreneurs, incubatees and incubator managers on how to deal with media successfully. The workshop will cover modules on writing media invite and press release, preparing press kit and handling press conference.

Experienced speaker invited to share with delegates on innovation concepts, the importance of innovation and methodology in generating great ideas.
09.00am – 10.30am | Grants & Funding
A talk will be delivered by financial institutions, such as Cradle, MSC Malaysia, MDV and MAVCAP to provide a briefing on the latest funding schemes and options where incubator managers will gain the knowledge in guiding incubatees for funding access while delegates (incubatees and entrepreneurs) will learn on latest funding schemes and application procedures.
09.30am – 01.00pm | 15th AABI General Assembly Meeting
The Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI) promotes business incubation activities by facilitating information exchange among Asian incubators, incubator clients and related organizations and stakeholders.
AABI comprises associations that organize incubation resources and facilities, organizations operating incubation programs, and more, located in Beijing (China), Shanghai (China), Hong Kong (China), Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, Australia and New Zealand totally covers 16 nations and regions.
The 15th General Assembly of AABI will be hosted by the National Incubator Network Association (NINA) on 31st March 2010 at Resource Centre, Technology Park Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as part of the NINA Innovation Incubation Week 2010. The pre-assembly of AABI will be held on 30th March 2010.
11.00am – 01.00pm | Business Plan Preparation
This workshop is designed to provide guidance to delegates who are interested to start their own businesses. The main objective of this workshop is to enhance delegate’s skills in writing a winning business plan to start a business as well as to approach funders or investors.
02.00pm – 06.00pm | Incubator Managers Roundtable
NINA and MSC Malaysia will host the Incubator Managers Roundtable, a gathering of Incubator Managers from all over Malaysia to network and discuss the issues and problems facing incubators in the country. The objective is to create the NINA Incubator Action Plan for 2010 in line with NINA’s 3-Year Incubator Development Blueprint which was released in the middle of this year.
07.00pm – 10.00pm | CEO-Interactive
A networking session created for entrepreneurs, incubator managers and speakers to build up a strong network and good relationship. Innovative CEOs are invited to be the guest speakers and share their thoughts with delegates.
